Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) off-field drama refuses to slow down. While the handshake saga is barely over, the country's cricket board is slammed for the poor quality kits that they supplied to Salman Ali Agha & Co. during the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 tournament. Former player and current coach Atiq-uz-Zaman took to social media to blast PCB as the jerseys were seen with excessive sweat and sticking on the bodies of players during their last Group A league fixture against the UAE on September 17.
Taking to X after Pakistan's convincing 41-run win over UAE, which saw them join India in the Super Four stage of the Continental Cup. Zaman blasted PCB, pointing out that Agha & Co. were sweating through their green jerseys while the others had given properly dry-fit ones. The ex-player also stated that this is what transpires when the tender for the manufacturing of the jersey kits is given to friends and not professionals.

"Pakistan players are sweating through low-quality kits while others wear proper dry-fits. This is what happens when tenders go to friends, not professionals. Corruption dripping more than the sweat," said Zaman in his tweet on X.

Many of the fans replied to Zaman's tweet, stating they also noticed the same similarities. Notably, on the PCB website, there is no mention of a kit sponsor for the Asia Cup event. The other sponsors include Pepsi, TCL, and Parkview City, which have been mentioned.
Pakistan advance through the Super 4 stage amidst lot of drama
Notably, Pakistan's match against the UAE was not short of drama, as PCB were almost about to boycott the game before they instructed their players to play the fixture in Dubai. PCB stretched the handshake saga far too much, with the ICC rubbishing their baseless claims on two separate occasions. However, the drama continued, as Pakistan recently uploaded a mute video, yet again making a laughing stock of itself on social media.
